Hausaufgaben: Zeichne deinen Familienstammbaum! Draw your family tree. Three generations are enough! Make it simple - not need to tell me about your 10,000 cousins.

Lernziele: I can create sentences using it / it / it (er/sie/es) while describing furniture. I can say the names of my family members from my family tree (mein / meine).

Heute: Today we learned how to use "it" when describing furniture.

Der Schreibtisch ist klein. Er ist klein.  The desk is small. "It" (He) is small

Die Tafel ist weiss. Sie ist weiss.  The board is white. "It" (She) is white

Das Fenster ist kaputt.  Es ist kaputt.  The window is broken. "It" (It) is broken

***PLURAL:  Die Schuhe sind braun. Sie sind braun.  The shoes are brown. They are brown.

Mein is used for der / das words when they are subjects. Mein Bett ist alt.

Meine is used for die / plural words when they are subjects. Meine Schuhe sind alt.
